Real Steel Review

Real steel is about Charlies struggle to find a bot to robot box and pay his debt. Little did he know he would have to take his son Max with him. When they were in the junkyard max fell off a cliff and a robots arm saved him. He was determined to uncover and keep the robot. They fight it in it's first match at the "zoo" and make 2 grand. They keep fighting it and winning. Then they start fighting in the big leagues. They win the first match. Then he challenges Zeus and wins. This was a great movie considering I went in with low expectations. This is a must see. Two thumbs up!!

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides

            Excellent movie, I am afraid the next one is gonna suck because they already have so many movies already. This movie follows Captain Jack Sparrow and his first mate Barbossa. This movie is about the search for the Fountain of Youth and his encounters with Black Beard. Loved the entire movie, this is a must see. Thumbs up!!!!!!!!

Rise of the Planet of the Apes

                Really good movie. It follows a young scientist trying to find a cure for his dad’s brain disease. He develops a serum and tests it on chimpanzees or apes in this case. Little did he know it gave the apes intelligence far beyond imagining. He gives it to his dad but after a while his disease comes back worse. It just postponed the virus. This is a great prequel and addition to the original planet of the apes movies. This movie tells how it happened and gives you some understanding. If you have free time go out and see this movie, you won’t regret it. Also, stunning graphics.

X-Men: First Class Review

X-Men: First Class Review

                I went to this movie with expectations for it to be like the other X-Men movies. This movie far exceeded my expectations. This shows Charles Xavier, Magneto, Mystique, and wolverine for a slit second in the time of the cold war. It shows how the team got started and how Magneto and Mystique turned from Charles side. This is a must see for all you X-Men lovers or just a movie to see on a rainy day.

I Am Legend Review

                This movie is an exciting thriller about a woman who finds a cure to cancer but the effects turn humans into vampires. One man and his dog sam (German Shepherd) think they are the only ones left on earth and each day is a struggle. When they were hunting sam runs into an alley where the vampires live and his owner has to save him. He tests cures to vampirism on vampires that he captures but he captures a really important ones wife in a trap so the vampire traps him.

          He sends vampire dogs after him and sam fights them off but he gets injured. We know that, that means he will turn into a vampire. They say their last words and sam dies. He goes to take revenge on the vampires but he loses.

          Right when he was about to get killed he gets saved by a woman and her son on the way to a survivor colony in Vermont, but they make the mistake to take him home during the night so the vampires have found out where he lives.

          The next night they launch an attack on the house. The head vampire gets into the house and fights him. They have to retreat to the basement as more vampires start coming in. They lock the doors to the lab and go behind the plexi glass.

          They discover that the head vampires wife is getting cured but he doesn’t listen. He puts the woman and his wife in the one place where the vampires can’t get them. In the end he has to kill the vampires with a grenade but to do that he has to die to. He does it to save them and all the vampires die.

          In the end the woman and her son get to the colony in Vermont and they tell his story. He turns into a legend and they don’t have to worry about vampires in the colony.

Batman begins movie review

Batman begins review

                Batman Begins is an action packed thriller that will keep you wondering throughout the whole movie. It follows Bruce from his childhood memories and his training as a ninja. That is how he fights so well. This is based on the cartoon “Batman.” You see his fights in the mob run Gotham city and his struggles on his way to become batman. The one who trained him launched an attack on Gotham city and Bruce had to fight them off himself. In the end he ends up winning and saves the whole city from death. I guarantee you if you like comics or cartoons you will like this movie. 

The Eagle review

This movie takes place in ancient roman times. It is about young Marcus trying to restore his families honor. It is an action packed movie and is great for anyone. Marcus is stationed near the british wall. He gets attacked by the brits and is injured. He gets an honorable discharge.

          He is in recovery at his uncles house. He goes to a gladiator match and sees a slave being executed. He stops this and the slave is his own.

          They develop a bond and Marcus decides to try to find his father. They go north of the wall. They get attacked several times and always win. Then they come across a roman and they don’t listen to him.

          Then they meet a people called the seal people. Their tribe is ancient and Eska Marcus’ slave pretends to be the master. They find the eagle but the seal people chase after them enraged.    

          Marcus breaks his leg and he has to set Eska free to get help. He gathers all the romans then they make a last stand to defend the eagle. That’s how it got its name. they win and the Brits died. Marcus has finally restored his families honor.

Braveheart movie review

                Brave heart is a movie about when England invades Scotland and William Wallis fights them off.

           The movie starts with young William working when he was little. His brother and father go off but he finds them killed. At their funeral you get a hint that he likes this girl. He goes off to live with his uncle.

          Once he gets older Scotland starts to take women away and they have to do something about it. The people of Scotland start to get fed up and attack a small camp. Then England decides to send in more troops then they go to war.

          They kill Williams love then he gets pissed.

          William has to build up his army then they start making weapons. After that they meet up with another army to fight off the English. They have huge spears to stop Calvary charges.

          After the battle William fights another battle this time he gets captured by the English. They try to execute him by hanging him but it doesn’t work. Then they tie him to a wall and a horse and try to tear him in half. He is too strong. Eventually they chop off his head but before he gets killed he gets a picture of his love.

                If any of you guys want to see an action packed movie based on a true story but not a documentary. Well this is THE movie to see. It follows captain Eversman and the rest of the rangers through a mission that has gone terribly wrong in Somalia, code named “Operation Gothic Serpent.” In this movie you will see the Rangers and Delta Force push through physical and emotional barriers that don’t seem possible for regular people. If you enjoy the thrill of the suspense of a movie go out and buy this movie!!!!!!

300 movie review

            In this article I am going to do a review of the movie 300. The movie starts out with a messenger coming to Sparta to ask the Spartans to surrender. The Spartans refuse and kill the messenger. The king must climb to the top of a mountain and consult the elders. They say no because it is way too dangerous and they need Sparta’s troops because there are only 10000 of them. But Leonidous disobeys there orders.  Then king Leonidous takes 300 of the best of Sparta’s warriors to meet the Persian army at Thermopylae. The 300 Spartans fend off thousands and thousands of the Persians king’s slaves with only taking very few casualties. They also try an arrow attack and some Spartans laugh because one Persian said “our arrows will blot out the sun” then one of the Spartans say “then we will fight in the shade” Then they start to send in animals such as rhinos and elephants. Then the Persian king gets angry and sends in Persia’s elite guard, The Immortals. This is where the casualties start to roll up and Leonidous loses more men. They eventually fight off the Persians but they realize that they are going to die. Their allies abandon them and they get flanked and trapped. The Persian king thinks he is a god and he thinks he cannot be hurt but at the Spartan’s last stand Leonidous refuses to surrender and throws a spear and cuts the king. At the end the Spartans do what they were trained and taught to do, the most heroic, honorable, and glorious thing in Spartan Culture. Fight to the Death. There were no survivors.

This movie is based on a true event but some things have been altered.

Captain America Movie Review

                                 Captain America Movie Review

This movie takes place during World War 2. This movie follows Steve trying to get into the army in the unit his dad served in. every recruiting station he goes to turns him down because of his medical condition via asthma he starts putting fake information down then he eventually gets caught and a doctor comes in to talk to him. Steve tells him he just wants to serve and he takes him into a super soldier program that he uses his intelligence in and courage. He may not be strong but he has a good heart. He is eventually accepted.

The treatment takes place in a secret location and is crawling with government officials. During the treatment they say they need to stop but he says he can take it. After the treatment he comes out as a new man very tall and muscular.

One of the government officials is actually a Nazi and shoots his friend. He is outraged so he  chases after him but when he catches him he kills himself.

He puts on plays and commercials first before complaining enough to get into the fight.

He finds out that he is stationed with his dads unit and is so happy, but he finds out that half of them have been captured so he sets out with the remainder of the troops and frees them. They steal lots of weapons from the Nazis and win lots of victory’s. On one train battle his friend is pushed off the train and is hanging on over the cliff but eventually falls off. This really makes Steve angry.

After a while Steve  hijacks one of the Nazi airplanes killing anyone he sees on the way to the Nazi general. Eventually he finds him and kills him but the plane was a bomber sent to New York and Steve knows that there is no way to safely land it without crashing so he does the unthinkable and crashes it while he is in it. He crashes it somewhere in the polar ice cap.

Years later scientists found his body in the Nazi jet that crashed into the ice and they find his body.

If you watched through all the credits and to the very end of the movie there was a trailer for the regular avengers coming out next summer. Hope you enjoyed!!!!!
